  Booked one night stay , two adults. The house is tired & dirty , the carpets in entrance & stairs had seen many years better days. We were escorted to the third floor , pausing only to point out where the toilet & shower room is on Floor below. The bedroom had no windows ,except one small velox , the carpets and bedding were stained & badly marked. Wall paper hanging off walls like its been there since 1970. We actually had no choice other than to tell the owner we could not stay in these conditions. it was deeply unfortunate for us and him , as we had family plans and he lost business ... There was another couple left at the same time for same reasons. This making the owner very angry and aggressive, quite intimidating and verbally abusive. It is a shame as location wise it is perfect for what we needed. The web site says parking - there is none The site doesnt say one shower room for everyone to share. Despite the dirty conditions I felt it was not represented truthfully, had it been factual it would have prevented a heated exchange and a disappointed owner & leaver. Recommendation - upgrade and / or advertise factual advertising , photos etc. I rarely eel the need to write bad reviews but this ruined our plans having driven to porthcawl and during August unable to find a last minute replacement room. HUGELY DISGUSTING & DISAPOINTED !!
